We have two main focuses when you reach out to the Employer Hotline. First, to help you recognize and deal with any potential risk management liability issues your organization may face due to the situation. Second, to help your resolve employee relations issues in a manner that stays true to and enhances your organzation’s culture.

Having access to a dedicated Employee Hotline for your employees provides an invaluable resource for addressing HR questions and concerns as they arise. It empowers employees to feel more secure and informed about their rights and responsibilities, which can lead to increased job satisfaction and a more positive workplace environment. Additionally,
having this resource available demonstrates your commitment to fostering open communication and ensuring that HR concerns are addressed promptly and professionally, contributing to a more transparent and compliant organizational culture.
The hotline offers a confidential and convenient way for employees to bring forward issues that they may be hesitant to bring directly to your organization.

Handbook Template
Our editable employee handbook template is up to date with federal law and ready for you to customize with your organization’s policies. We provide you with a Word copy that is formatted to have an automatic table of contents to make your editing easier as it automatically pulls your changes, such as title and location, into the Table of Contents. The handbook is a starting point for you to either review your own policies or create a new handbook for your organization.

The handbook is organized in a manner that is best for risk management purposes should you ever need to respond to a complaint filed with an outside agency or court. Policies that are most often a defense in such complaints, such as equal employment opportunity, harassment and
discrimination prohibition, and reasonable accommodation, are located at the front of the
handbook to emphasize their importance.

We routinely update the template as changes are made to laws and HR best practices related to
handbook policies.

Respectful Workplace Webinar
One of the most crucial trainings we offer to
employees focuses on the behavior expected of
them in the workplace. This is a high-risk area, as
many charges filed with civil rights agencies are
related to race, gender, and disability discrimination. To address this, we will provide a pre-recorded “Civility in the Workplace” webinar.

The first section covers the legal obligations surrounding workplace conduct. The second
section discusses how your organization’s mission, vision, values, and policies require employees to maintain a higher standard of respectful and professional behavior while at work.Your paragraph text
At strategic points in the webinar, you can pause the recording and discuss the topic questions presented on each issue. We encourage you to use the recording in a group setting led by an HR professional to ensure that your organization-specific policies are discussed by the group. This is also your opportunity to discuss your organization’s culture of respect and equality.

Annual Service Project
Each year, you have the option to select
a service project as part of your
package. Available services include an
HR assessment conducted by a
consultant, accompanied by a report
with actionable recommendations, a
private one-hour webinar (live or pre-
recorded) on a curated list of topics, a
15-question employee engagement
survey with a results report, or an
employee handbook review (covering
federal law and one state). Additionally,

offered each year as options to replace
the standard offerings.

HR Assessment Review
HR professionals must be able to deal with both the culture of the organization and compliance with all the various laws that impact how we do our jobs. Juggling these two vastly different parts of our job come together in our HR assessment review. We will provide you with a template so you can self-review your HR practices from A to Z and learn your areas of strengths and items for improvement. You can then conduct your own comprehensive review and evaluation of how your HR department is
performing.

The assessment can help make sure that the policies and procedures of your HR department are aligning with the mission, vision and values of the organization. It can also help you evaluate your
department’s workflow, roles and responsibilities and where there may be gaps that need to be addressed. At the end of the assessment, you should be able to formulate actionable goals to address any issues identified.
